Games I really want to play ...
Okay after think about this for a little while I've picked out a few games that I really .... and I mean really want to play ... that may or may not be coming out any time soon. So here is my "top 10 list":
1. Title: Halo 3 (or whatever the next installment in the franchise is).
Platform: XBOX 360
Reason: This shouldn't be too big a shocker for anyone that knows me, give me Halo and I'll be happy. This game got me back into console gaming, yes I'm a converted PC gamer.
2. Title: Half Life (insert next installment name).
Platform: PC
Reason: I was really irked by ending of Half Life 2 and want to know what happens, not to mention this is the franchise that started it all for me, it was my first PC shooter, and for that reason it will forever have a place in my heart.
3. Title: StarCraft 2
Platform: PC
Reason: This is the game that I secretly hope Blizzard never makes, since in my mind there really isn't a better RTS than the original, but to be honest, I'd be pretty interested in what they'd do in it should they try it again. I'd have to play it just to see if they can do better.
4. Title: Spore
Platform: PC
Reason: I liked the Civ games and the Sims, so now we have one that combines the best both worlds, what's not to like? In any case this game seems like a must try in the very least just due to the amount of customization that you can do with your own species.
5. Title: Metroid (Insert random name here)
Platform: Revolution
Reason: No official announcement or anything like that but I wouldn't put it past the big N, for putting this classic franchise and putting it on there upcoming Revolution system. Think about the possibilities of new game play elements in a great shooter such as Metroid would be enough for me to go out and buy one, not that I wouldn't do that already.
6. Title: Devil May Cry 4
Platform: PS3
Reason: This is always a solid game and is visually stunning. This franchise is known for its crazy difficulty but is just a great action game.
7. Title: New Super Mario Bros.
Platform: DS
Reason: Mario is a staple in gaming culture and any true wish gaming list should have some form of the classic icon.
8. Title: World of Warcraft (Burining Crusade")
Platform: PC
Reason: I've played WoW for about 10 days (trial account) and nearly needed a crowbar to remove myself from it, I don't expect too much more from Blizzard on this one, but is it a good enough excuse to get addicted again?
9. Title: Gears of War
Platform: XBOX 360
Reason: This game looks amazing, this could be the game that makes you want to own an XBOX 360. I personally think that this game will be the one game to show the world what kind of power lies inside the latest XBOX.
10. Title: Hellgate: London
Platform: PC
Reason: RPG + Shooter + Former Blizzard Devs? That sounds like a winning combination to me. This is one of those it looks great on paper games, but we'll have to wait and see if this game, really is all its hyped up to be.
